Raised on a healthy diet of 60’s pop and soul, 70’s rock and folk, 80’s new wave and 90’s Britpop, Dutch indie band Blue Electric Sun have recorded the albums Under Current, Ghost Radio Songs and Shoreline Gold Love Quest plus the EP Trip to the Stars. Blue Electric Sun play melancholy popsongs, with infuences from Crowded House to Pink Floyd and from 10CC to Curtis Mayfield. Their songs are about love, lust, life and loss and are wrapped in rich vocal harmonies, shiny bright guitars and sparkling keyboards.
